The Cockpit Café, located at the Venice Airport (VNC) is owned and operated by European trained chef, Jarda Hornacek and his wife Kirsten. Ingredients are prepared fresh daily and feature a variety of homemade soups, the "98% Cuban Sandwich", the ever-popular “Czechwiches” and breakfasts served your way. Try the banana-walnut stuffed pancakes and you’ll feel like you’re in first class, while only paying coach prices. The Cockpit Café also holds the distinction of winning the “Hundred Dollar Hamburger” pilots choice award. While enjoying your meal, you can look out the window and see the bald eagles that make their home in the navigation tower as well as watch the planes take off and land. The café serves breakfast and lunch from 7am-2pm. Open 7 days a week.
