I have a friend who is here in Texas from Canada with his airplane.  His GPS III Plus appears to only have Canadian data.  Does anyone know how to switch this Gps over to US?  Is there a download somewhere that would help with this?  I can’t find anything in the manual.

As luck would have it I found the answer within a few minutes after posting this.  I looked for over an hour before that.  It appears I need the MapSource software by garmin.  I only have MapSend software for the lowrance, so my friend will need to purchase the software.
