Near to the day from first lay-up to first flight for ZK-ZEB, all went well.
Europa Classic #198.
Wilksch Powered.
Weight 960lbs.

Congratulations Peter. Well done and what a slog!
I guess you had a life during the build unlike some of us? Mine was
2,500 hours over four and a half years so I didn't do much else ....it
even brought retirement on like stealth !
At least now you can enjoy the fruits !

(90%) tail kit done, wings closed, cockpit module installed, pitch
system in, landing gear complete, rudder system in with Singleton Mod,
outrigger mod in, Fuselage Top on, lift/drag/flap pins in, wing
incidence set, tie bar in, flap drive in, baggage bay in. Fuel system
complete. Rotax and Airmaster installed. Mods 62, 66, 70 & 72 done.
Completed the instrument panel install. Europa interior kit being
installed. Installed windows. Working in - 25 Electrical, 28 Flaps,
30 Fuel System, 32 Tail, 34 Door Latches & 35 Doors, 37 Finishing.
Mostly finishing these days.

Congratulations Peter. Another Europa for the Kiwi sky and squadron!! Will catch up some time/place to see the Wilksch powered machine. Have a friend in England, another Peter who has built with the Wilksch. Good idea with the way fuel prices are going.

It's hi time a Wilksch was flying, it was December '99 when the first
engine lifted a Europa off the ground. (I was left seat and Mark Wilksch
was right. It was foggy so we only went as high as 10 feet.)Can't
believe its taken so long
Just make sure CG is not too far forward so you don't run out of
elevator authority on landing
