Fully Automatic Digital Engine Control.
Everything today has to be an anachronism... I notice they took the A out of
ADSL to make it DSL The A stood for Asynchronous meaning different
upload/download speeds. Local DSL is still Asynchronous.
People are so used to the anachronisms that in the local grocery stores they
call everything a "cagey" (KG) Ask for a half kilo or two kilos of
anything and they will look at you as if you had ten heads. Gee and I was
the one who didn't grow up on metric.

Hi Jeff:
Thanks for the response. I'm still building. I have a 912S , but it is not yet installed. I became concerned when I read the posts of others about controlling approach speeds with high engine rpms. Thanks again. I think I was overly concerned.

I am about 50 mph IAS on final +/- 5 mph and that will be at solo or at gross on wheels /skis or floats.
If you are getting too much float a likely culprit is too hot on final.

The 100 hp Fadec engine I was talking about can be found at ULPower.com. It is a new engine of extremely good quality. As mentioned, I thought it was a Jabaru but it isn't. It was very cold that day at Sebring and neither the mfg.'s US rep or myself wanted to be outside that day so I wasn't able to spend as much time as I wanted analyzing the engine, but I was impressed. Check out the website.Kitplanes wrote an article about it which I downloaded and will read shortly.
