Yes, I want to put Vortex Generators on my Flaperons, main wing, and around the tail feathers.

If nobody has done yet I'll let you know what my findings are later this summer.

Clint are you done with your VG write up and could you tell me where I could find it? I like to read it. Dave in Ontario said they did not do much for him but I think he is flying with the early model Wing like a model III.

buddy up here put the VG's on his Avid model IV. they made a big difference in landing speed. he can come in now at a ridiculous AOA just dragging it in. He did not notice a big difference at first on take off because you cant get the AOA on the wing. He went to extended gear and 25" tires to get a better AOA on the wing. He would like to go even bigger on the tires as the plane is capable of flying at lower speeds than he can get it off right now.

I have a set of 26" to put on mine as soon as I get off my butt and finish the other wing.

Robert

I tried putting some vortex generators on my flaperons but could tell no difference. I only tried it one time and did not do all the test flying repositioning and reflying required to actually see the slight difference that they might make.

Let me know what you find.
