Just to add to what Dave said:
If you read the label on the additive you will find it cleans the exhaust
valves and upper combustion chambers. Seeing as how the additive won't
protect from lead plating onto the main roller type bearings when the fuel
passes through the base of the engine, There are no exhaust valves and the
effect on build up on the spark plugs is minimal if at all, the additive
doesn't seem to do anything but add drain your wallet.
Monsieur Bombardier et al, who builds the engine in the first place, does
not recommend the use of AVGAS so I won't either.
