I am sad to inform you that we have lost another Commander and crew. Central Air's 500S was lost Wed morning while on a training mission. I spoke with John Towner yesterday. He said the airplane was equipped with a Garmin 396 with a memory chip. The FAA was able to reconstruct what happened. In the interest of safety, when they release their finding, John will allow us to have access to the information. John & Andrew Towner are both wonderful people and Central Air is a top flight operation. Our prayers go out to John and his family and the outstanding crew at Central Air. jb Get the Moviefone To olbar. Showtimes, theaters, movie news, & more!

According to the newspaper, Murray Brown was the safety pilot in the right seat.

Murray was a gentleman of an English gentlemen. He was with Central for (I think) well over ten years. Murray had the highest ethical standards, and could somehow always get the job done.

He was a significant part of Central Air, and his loss leaves a big hole in all of our hearts.

Hi Jim,

Our thoughts and prayers are with John. I remember Murray and his great dry
sense of humour at the Flyin in Kansas City a few years back.

Please pass on our thoughts and support to John and Andrew.

Cheers from Oz

Russell

I always wonder why bad things happen to good people. I can only say God
want good people too.
