Dear Willie,
The Skydrive carb heat kit may be fitted to a Rotax 900 series engine
without reference to LAA Engineering.  The installation must be checked
and approved by an LAA inspector though.
With Ian Rickard's valued assistance, I am in the throes of getting this
mod on the list of Standard Mods list that is shown on the web site.
