Not that anyone cares but I finally got around to updating my website.
Includes some photos of my Corvair engine install.

It looks great, Gig. And yes, we are interested.
I probably told you this before...my first flight at the ripe old age of 7 was at the airport where your hanger is located.
Later on, I was a member of the El Dorado branch of the CAP. They had an old Aeronca Champ that was hangered there. Low and slow in that thing was a real blast.

Yes they are functional, both up and down. Each side opens like a clam shell. Unless you are really tearing into the engine the only reason to have to pull the cowling off is to mess with the alternator and probably to remove the front two spark plugs but you might even be able to get to them.
