For those who haven't upgraded to the new  style nosewheel spacers per the Service Letter, here's what the wheel eventually  does if the spacers are allowed to loosen up:

 I could feel this play in the towbar while  moving the plane.  This customer bought a new fork because it was cut up  from the thin SS original style spacers.
