Yakkers, Cj'ers...

I am currently not an owner of either...YET! But that is a MAJOR GOAL of my near aviation-based future. Yet I feel overwhelmingly compelled to say how positively ACTIVE and INFORMATIVE this group is! Good grief! I mean...you guys RAISE THE BAR beyond the reach of most! There are MANY other Type Clubs of sorts out there that could learn a lot about support, camaraderie, humility, tech tips, help, compassion, morale, FRIENDLINESS and FUN from you all. I have learned MUCH just by being privy to the many useful exchanges. From someone who's word probably doesn't carry much weight...BRAVO!

...and THANKS! (For the speck of positivity in a largely-negative world - and for the inspiration to continue my personal quest!)

Gang,

We have 4 orders currently for the "Your legs will love you" rudder pedal bracket mod for the CJ. I need 10 orders to keep the price at $250/set (one cockpit). I can get individual sets made, but they'll run $400, and that just doesn't make sense. With 6 more people stepping forward I will get the run started and have them out within 2 weeks.

Again, these are made out of high grade machined aluminum block and give you about 3.5" of extra leg room. Installation is straightforward and improved over the first set. All hardware is included and installation time is 4-8 hours, depending on the condition of your original pedals. If they've been maintained, it's easy. If they haven't (which is apparently most of them) then the original hardware can be a battle. Either way, if you do any cross country flying at all, you'll be very happy to have done it.

Please contact us directly at info(at)worldwidewarbirds.com (info(at)worldwidewarbirds.com) with your order.

Thanks,

Barry

I have a CJ6A for sale. Why don't you join RPA and really become part of the group. Let me know if you are interested in N39YK. Specs and pics are on Barnstomers and RPA web sites. Welcome!

Rico:

Welcome aboard.

I have been in a CJ6 partnership for over 15 years. Buying that machine was one of the best decisions I have ever made. There are those that love their 52's equally.

Whichever plane you buy (and the decision should be mission dependent) you will have a great time.

I'm proud to say, Rico, that I have successfully recruited four members to the RPA.  My system for sinking the hook is simple and transparent.  I put them in he airplane for a formation ride, and then invite them to an RPA event.  After that, there's no spitting the hook out! So, let's find some folks reasonably near you in WI with whom you can fly. Should you visit the Peoples Republic of San Francisco, please call. ...Blitz Fox, CJ, 415-307-2405

I can attest to Blitz's ability to sink the hook!

Bought mine a few months after I went for a ride with Blitz.

I don't doubt it! But suggesting that I need to be "baited" to build interest in a Yak / CJ is like saying Jessica Alba needs to work out a little before she can have my number!
