We practically never use ground power for starting. We fly app. 150 sorties a year and have had no problems. We have just changed batteries for the first time in 7 years.
I still owe you a trip!

Dear Jorgen,
Pete Taylor used 2 Odyssey 940 series inside and it started fine, I used it on my plane and it was fine.
Having a turnkey airplane is sooo good, just like a 172.
