I think you woke everyone up Brian, it was getting a little quiet on the
list.
Fortunately I'm not in Aberdeen much, not my favourite place to be so I
minimise my time there. Apart from the weather I associate it with work
and my stay usually lasts 10 hours one way and 6 hours the other.
You are welcome to come for a fly if you are ever in Norfolk where I
live. You ever get down that way?
A ride in the Esqual when I get it fixed (I recently remodelled the U/C
legs) the are like this ) ( now.
Regards, Clive

My last words on this. It was kinda fun. |
Hi Brian,
Yes, it was kind of fun and perhaps we did learn something. But I do hope that everyone realizes that, in reality, Doug and I actually are good friends and occasionally enjoy some "back and forth" with words of wisdom for each other.
Blue Skies,
Buz

Yeah, but the words of wisdom have a one-way flow.
Guess which!!!

Well, thank you Doug, what a nice thing to say. And speaking of nice, it looks like the outside temp has just gone above freezing with a forecast high of about 50 degrees F for later today. With a sunny sky and relatively calm winds, I am having a big urge to head for the airport. I need to do some more speed runs with that new prop. Hope all of you get a chance to go flying today or tomorrow (even warmer forecast).
Blue Skies,
Buz

It's warm and nice at Green Landings also.
but as you may know, Ryan literally got a truckload of Lightnings (three) two weeks ago and we are working hard to get them going. Besides, we already had one at paint!!
We need to get the short wing, secret tips, done so it can go to the new owner at Sun n Fun. Plus we had Charlie's done and waiting for good weather to get the fly-offs done so it can come to you. Uglyest Lightning yet......painted dark primer gray. Will be painted after the 40 hours. So we have five Lightnings sitting here in some state of construction.... Not counting Jim Langley's ...which is getting a new instrument panel.
If you check out the videos on www.greenlandings.com (select owners gallery) you will see it at inspection and engine start.
We are building now....will be flying later
Doug
