Looks like everyone has other plans, or is in between airplanes. Is
today that EAA 309 thing today too? Thanks for the proposition tho...
Cheers,

Larry,
August 15th is the navigation challenge. Would you like to come down to
Rock Hill and help out, if you are not borrowing someone's plan?
Lee,
Congrats on those milestones. You are close, very close!

Perhaps. Or I may stay in the basement and hammer away on the RV7.
Gotta take advantage of the post Oshkosh motivation ya know.
How is your plane coming along?

That's what I love / hate about homebuilding airplanes - such a damned solitary pursuit, unless you live at an airpark, or better yet, in a technically-enthusiastic "Gee, Dad, we'd love to help you buck rivets - again!" family.
Some of us have paid a high price, sooner or later, for giving away part of ourselves to the hobby. There's a high need for "situational awareness" when we're in the shop pounding rivets assuming that the fam is cool with that as much as we'd like to believe they are. I'm just sayin'.
More power to you if Pam is truly okay with you being in the basement every time. May her tribe increase.
Don't mind me - I'm just waxing philosophical now that I've no rivets to pound.

Ya, there are other priorities. That's one of the reasons why my work
on the plane often starts at 9 or 10 PM, and it takes > 6 years to
build one.
