When placing .016 or other flashing against the canopy acrylic, what have you all used to seal that gap against the elements? For example, have you used silicone or other sealant from a tube or have you found any weatherstripping that fits in there nicely with the edge of the aluminum flashing? On the rear bubble of my CH 650 canopy, for example, I have cut some side flashing that will follow the curve of the acrylic from the rear deck to the longerons .. see the attached picture. I'd like to take the best steps toward keeping moisture out the baggage deck and reduce wind noise from any gap there. Please let me know what solutions you folks have found that works best for you! Thanks in advance for your help.

I used some 3M automotive double sided foam tape on the front
flashing. It worked really well. This is the gray tape used to attach
rubber moldings to cars. I have also used it to attach a set of small
fog lights to the plastic trim on the front bumper of my old Ford
truck. They stayed put for four years and 68,000 miles and were still
holding on when I sold the truck. Strangely enough, the tape is also
fairly easy to remove if you need to. I put a strip across the top and
 bottom of the flashing.

On the side flashing, I used some sort of rubber strip intended for
installing storm door windows. It was ribbed in the area that was
intended to go between the glass and the frame and had a cap set at an
angle to seal the corner. I had to trim off part of the cap that was
overhanging the aluminum flashing. This turned out pretty well also.

Bryan, thanks for the idea on the double-sided foam tape. I think I have located some on McMaster.com that will fit nicely. Thanks for your help!
