I would have had a freaking baby! ...but I overreact...
It's not ABF, it's freight shipping in general. I used to be around a
lot of sailplane shipping from Germany. It's heartbreaking to spend a
little time around a freight operation waiting for your precious,
fragile little baby get tossed about like a chunk of iron ore. Rule
one; don't try to watch lest you tempt the crane operator to put on a
show for you.
It feels like "everything is insured and time is money so f--k it".
It's not personal, it's just work.
It's nice to have the option of having someone baby your big QB parts
cross country. I'd recommend it. And Partain will talk you down from
the high you'll be on when the load arrives. ABF can't do that!

careful. But, for the most part it went OK. I did pick
mine up at the local terminal myself, so that avoided
one extra unload/reload cycle.
