I am wanting to buy and RV7A or RV6A. It seems the RV7s are higher in price than an RV6s. What are the differences between an RV6 and RV7. Is there any advantage to buying an RV7 over and RV6 or vice a versa. Thanks for any replies.

Chances are that the 7's are more consistently made due to prepunch kits.  7's have larger fuel tanks and larger rudders for more range and better control.  About the same otherwise.  Check the number of hours on the plane and engine.  Engine time since new or major overhaul is primary difference.  Also, 7's are newer model and probably have more uptodate electronics.  Larry in Indiana

Greg: I like the seven better, is a little higher on the tail,
also, I believe wings are a couple inches longer..
I have an rv6a, ( which is for sale) but I like th looks of the
rv7a better.
