One of the items I got years ago in the tool kit that came with a Wilga I
had (back in the days when the factory included lots of tools and spares)
was a strange looking item. Obviously a pump of some sort, looked kinda like
an old insecticide sprayer without the tank, but with a curved tube, oh,
about 1/2" dia., 18" long or so, nozzle with an array of annular holes at
the end. Say what? Looked it up in the IPC and it was a tool for injecting
oil into cylinders for pre-oiling. Not a bad idea if your airplane has been
sitting for a while or after OH before first start. Clever dudes, them
commies, tho I'm sure us Americanos have done likewise back in the day...

It is not for pre-oiling but for injecting oil for preservation.Supposed to be done every 30 days if the engine is not being used!
