Hi

I am interested in using MILSPEC fittings for my cowl. I was wondering, however, how difficult is it to remove the grommets after installation. I would like to to be able to remove the cowl hardware prior to painting the cowl.

Cheers

I did put the retainers on mine so I wouldn't lose the fitting. They are easy to remove with a sharp pointy tool. You can also buy extra retainers cheaply in case you bugger one up.
