Hello everyone. Just weight my plane, empty, no paint. 1558 pounds.
I wonder how it compares with the guys taht are flying.

ROB, mine came in at 1592 without wheel pants. 1626 with. Randy N610RV

Thanks Randy. Vans Site says 1500 empty. It was puzzeling since the
weight on the 10 should be very close as avionics is almost the only
variable. I started doubting the scale.

I have the Hartzell prop. Two GRTs, SL30, SL40 along with a TXP and
an audio panel. The wieght included everything except the paint and
the radios. It included the GRTs. I have a Sears wheelchair battery
(included in the weight also).

This is not a fiberglass plane where there is the possibilty of large
variations between plane weights. I weight the plane with (I believe)
a very accurate racing car scales. Perhaps the discrepency is in our
scales.

I had plans for the first flight tommorow. It is postponed to Sunday.
