Passing along:
The second in my regular series of free hour-long monthly webinars will take place on Wednesday, July 7th starting at 6pm Pacific, 8pm Central, 9pm Eastern. The title is "All About Cylinders" and I'll be covering a broad range of cylinder-related topics, including:- cylinder construction (factory and aftermarket PMA cylinders)
- condition monitoring (compression tests, borescope inspections)
- abnormal combustion events (detonation, pre-ignition)
- failure modes (head cracks, exhaust valve failure, barrel wear, head-to-barrel separation)
- failure consequences
- useful life and factors affecting cylinder longevity
- cylinder repairs, replacement, top overhauls
- safety risks (MIFs) associated with cylinder removal and installation
The webinar will start of with a presentation lasting roughly 30 minutes, followed by 30 minutes of Q&A.
I see there are already 60 of you pre-registered for this webinar. For those who have not yet pre-registered but are interested in attending, you may pre-register now at http://www.savvymx.com/webinar. All pre-registrants will receive email instructions for logging onto the webinar platform and gaining access to the webinar classroom.
At that same URL, you can also view the recording of my June 2nd webinar "All About Oil." The upcoming July 7th webinar will also be recorded and will become available for playback on that page for those who are unable to attend "live."
These free hour-long webinars will take place on the first Wednesday of every month. The tentative title for my August webinar is "All About Annuals."
