Thank you for describing your experiences...good to hear from you!...hope to see you at RR in Sept. !.
What you describe gives me pause...out of modesty, I've adhered to the manual's P factor offset rather than making a guess at increasing it in proportion to the increase in cruise power I'm anticipating. (If I cruise at 4500 rpm, engine will be putting out about 115 hp w/ about 135 ft/lb of torque...w/ my 1.9 PSRU ratio, I believe that translates to 256 ft/lb (at) the prop.). Hmmmmmm...
If you recall, was your "fix" in the nature of increasing or decreasing the offset called for in the manual?
