I share the following experience in hope of preventing a similar problem in others' aircraft.
Some time ago I started applying a plug on the fuel cap vents to prevent clogging by bugs. Unfortunately, the plug was air tight.
I recently performed a condition inspection. Part of the process, as you know is to inspect the wing fuel strainers. So, I drained the fuel--leaving the tank full of air that could expand with temperature. Apparently the temperature reached the point of creating significant pressure in the rear fuel tank. When I re-fueled after the condition inspection I noted a leak from the wing. I found a delamination of the upper trailing edge joint of my fiberglass fuel tank.
