Raimo,
Good work! Great shop/hanger/bar&grill! How 'bout some pics of the inside?
***
Bob,
finally today I took some pics as you requested - be my guest and I really wish you like:
EH1: it is upp on the little hill. At the right side there is a water tower (today uncoated, normally he is dressed in navy blue) to get water for roses and to wash a plane. Not so warm today any more - only 12C.
EH2: some foldable transportation vehicles like one ordinary kickboard, two electric ones and two cyckles (one light [Tunturi made in Finland] and one the lightest in the world [Sir Sinclair, A-Bike), all possible to load into Europa. Behind the photo "three beauties" you remember (oh yes that is Canarian Yeallow fuckin Lamborghini Gallardo Spider LPS 560).
EH3: rigg/derigg aids and a security box for tailplanes*, my Europa story stand, a lawn mover and some traffic guides.
* I like to take care of my tailplanes.
EH4: an electric remote controlled tow machine for Europa, the wire lenght is 15 metres (it is quite easy to pull it by man power into hangar but there is a potential risk then to lift a tail and get a damaged prop - that is a main reason to use a tow machine), capasity to pull is 250 kgs - it uses around 40 kgs.
EH5: a kitchen and a work shop with all the necessary tools. Behind there is a man-powered crank to lift one side of the door.
EH7: an office. Notice a prop blade - that was a 10th wedding day gift from only Finnish operational DC3 crew. At right side there is a fridge full of pre-flight drinks and also after-flight frinks. The Text "nauti oikeassa lampotilassa" means about "please do enjoy when temperature is good". Under the F-16 poster there are strings which my wife got RNLAF (Royal Netherlands Airforce) one month ago. Actually she got 4 pairs, three of them are in use.
EH8: there is she is and behind some aviation art - old b&w photos.
EH9: - " -
EH10: Hangar´s roof is a huge illuminated sign - quite visible when flying over day and night.
EH11: This hangar has a principle: FIFO (first in, first out) and NHC (no hangar crashes). That leather was once a huge cow.
EH12: -"-
EH13: a shelf for some necessary items like a full rate ADSL, some aviation gizmos, litherature, maps, power reserve (= battery charger, battery [accu!] and inverter in series) for alarm systems, some spares etc you know. This hangar has 4 cameras outside and two inside, one local alarm and one with an IP-address. If something moves there I will get a message to my gsm phone and everythnig is recorded into a safe server 24/7.
EH14: because I am a patriotic, that is painted to the asphalt also!
EH15: flying is nice but to keep it in that status life must be wonderful also before and after flying. That is why a little BBQ is great with family or with good friends. Today it was raining but this summer has been one of the best in my life. BTW the runway is just behind Piper, taxiing about 500 metres, runways 24&06.
Some of you (let´s say 10) have visited EFTP but only one during this summer (as I know) - he was my friend Dirk van Oyen from Belgium with his magnificent OO-145. That was a surprise for me. He had planned it with my wife. I was there. She said "look that plane"! I looked and that looked just like Europa. Who the hell is coming here? Rest is th history.
Thanks, Raimo

I wanna share this moment instantly with all of you around the globe.
I am writing this time 0330 AM - I came just from The EFTP.
Last time when I have been airborne and a pilot was 13th of November 2009.
That was because OH-XRT (and many other poor planes here) lost her hangar space in The EFTP.
That was a serious business!
I decided to make my own hangar and I call it The Europa[e] Hall !
That is why I have been really busy during last weeks!
It was completed tonight! Look at the attached photo! If you check it carefully, you will notice Europa´s official logo is slightly modified in this case!
Inside - there is a little bar, grill, service shop, alarm, safety cams via internet recording ability, some aviation gizmos, nose artist girls and other necessary equipments.
It´s size is just compact 9 x 12 m2.
My wife certainly planted some rose bushes beside it!
Because it is on a little hill, it is equipped also with an electric tow machine to pull RT inside (she is so fat lady that even for me it is almost too hard task to pull her inside manually).
I trailered today OH-XRT from her home hangar from Lempaala to The EFTP and had also my first aviation session today.
I was thrilled - I have been grounded over seven months. Could I fly any more (that wild tail wheeled mono)?
Rotax fired upp immediately.
Everything was ok.
I taxied about 15 minutes and it felt so good!
After I did some touch and goes and it felt also good or even better if possible.
I did some of my best landings - Europa is really landable from the first touch to the final stop using less than 300 metres runway.
After that I had a local flight 50 minutes.
That seven months meant nothing - I felt as I had been airborne yesterday.
Obviously flying Europa has gone to my backbone and more or less to my ass too!
I feel COMPLETELY happy now!
You there around the globe and still building: build it fast - just do it and complete it ! What sooner that better - it is really worth of it!
