Guy's & Gals,Check out the Louisville KY weather report for the 10 day outlook. I know this can change. and I don't like to count chickens from eggs but, ..... it really looks like this is turning out better than we could have ask for.

Don't forget for anyone driving in gas cans and beer are premium at Rough River.
Here is the schedule I sent out last week.

Friday we have supper scheduled at 6Razz Central. It's in the room sectioned off from the regular restaurant.
Saturday breakfast at 8:30AM in the same room with meeting to follow. Meeting moves to the flight line at no scheduled time. Weather permitting flying will commence with lots of cowl pulling and interesting talk. We will also have the airport lounge and the porch area to use. Lunch can happen anytime individually.
Meeting room scheduled for a 5Razz supper. We can stay or head back to the runway for more flying and conversation.
Lets all pray for the big high pressure over America and having safe travel for all.
Jeff R. N128LJ Gold Rush.

I'm afraid I have some bad news. Looks like I'll be driving. I just
removed my cowl and found a crack in the engine frame right where mode
72 belongs. I have just now started the long process of dismantling
the engine. I'm wondering if I should have the frame / crack welded
before I put the mod inserts in. I have them but have just put off
doing the mod thinking I'll wait till the winter annual. Bummer. I
don't think there's time before Friday but i'm working on it.
You still need to fly-in here if you can. I'll gas you up then Karen &
I will just drive on up If I don't have it done.

Bummer Jeff...but better to have discovered it now than to have some
rubbernecker at RR point it out!

Others will have more technical knowledge than I, but if it were my
plane, I would most certainly make a weld repair before reaming for
the Mod 72 inserts.

Jeff-

You must live right. I can think of a lot worse times to find a broken engine mount than sitting on the ground! See you tomorrow.
