List,
I have determined that the CHT's can be changed about 15 to 30 degrees ( depending on throttle position ) by having the nose wheel pant installed. This was not done scientifically. I flew with the wheel pant off and marked the cylinder head temps at 3 different settings. Then with the whel pant on at the same altitude and same throttle settings. Each time giving the temps time to stabilize. This is especially true of the rear cylinders. I believe the nose wheel with out the pant causes turbulence at the cowl opening and disturbs flow raising the temps.
Has anyone experienced this.
Still trying to get back 2 cylinders below 300 deg. I am down to 310 ~ 325.
