Personally, I haven't seen the emails lately on list
contributions, as I contributed early in the month.
I did run across a posting on the Aero-Electric list
today by Bob in reply to apparently the lower
contribution level from last year...and I know last
year was actually a down year for Matt too.
Consider the benefits you get from the list...sometimes
it doesn't seem like much, but you'll run across some
tips that may end up saving you $20, $50, $300 or
more. To me, it's just part of being in the community,
to contribute knowledge learned. With Matronics, we
don't support a person, or a company...just a server
and I'm sure a hefty bandwidth bill, and some incidental
work. I don't have time to follow websites, and keep
up on forums...but I actually often answer Matronics
forum email before I answer direct personal emails...my
thought is that if a person REALLY needs an answer, and
wants it quick, they should ask the group. Anyway,
I'm not tied to any list, but this is the place I
call home because it's in the format that want...and
I get a steady flow of it to my inbox. If you can't
contribute a lot, consider a little...but try to do
your share to keep it all alive.

As of today, Contributions to the Matronics List Fund Raiser are
lagging behind last year at this time by roughly 17%. I have a
Fund Raiser each year simply to cover my operating costs for the
Lists. I *do not* accept any advertising income to support the
Lists and rely solely on the Contributions of members to keep the
expenses paid. "

Agreed. I figure at a minimum ten bucks per list you are on. Come on, folks. This is not only great entertainment, it's also good education and info that saves you time, money, and possibly your behind. Then, after you contribute, go to your favorite charity and make sure you give there, as well.
