The new Chinese L-7 prototype is getting ready to fly. It is a Chinese version of the Yak-152. It has a Romanian M`14P and an MT propeller.

No the -152 is a later version of the -52

The JAK-152 is equipped with zero zero seats. Suspect the knock off L-7 will be too.

As Richard pointed out, The design was done by Yakovlev design bureau and yes it has ejection seats.

Boy she has a little bit of everything in her.
Looks like she may have plain flaps.
She may not have ejection seat but what can be called extraction seats. When activated, a small charge extends a telescoping pole out high enough to clear the tail. The chute is than deployed and than fully opens. At which point it pulls the pilot out of the seat, up the pole, and freed off the end of it. I think I read that system was certified for inverted flight down to 200'.
The nose gear fork does not look like a casting but formed plate.
The wings have a lot of dihedral (compared to a 52) maybe 3 to 5 degrees and is something other than a Clark Y. Looking at the tip airfoil, it looks like a 4422 and I think the root area looks like a 2300 series. I can be wrong.
The landing gear looks like she'll be fully retracted, but looks puny to me. It does have a lot of shock tube showing though.
Can't tell but the flight controls may be all medal - at least the rudder appears so. You sure tell by the vertical stab its got a lot Russian in it.
Boy I love to see this up close. I don't care for the side opening canopy ( I like to fly with mine open a lot). Bet she'll make a great trainer.

Perhaps it's just the perspective of the photo, but it looks like it would have a very forward CG with only one pilot.
