I'm installing an ADC "flat" oil filter on my Housai. I am considering adding an oil pressure warning light, but ADC no longer offers that kit. What's needed is a Honeywell "hobbs" pressure switch that's NC instead of the usual NO switch that activates a hobbs meter. They sell them in dozens of different pressure ranges. I was thinking of getting one that switches on below about 50 PSI. That would give some low pressure warning without nuisance warnings, but would be set off by lower idle pressure on the ground. If you set it to 20 PSI or so (below lowest idle pressure) it won't give much warning at cruise power if the pressure is dropping. Anybody have this installed and have a part number or know at what pressure it should activate the switch?
