Hi All, Back in the early 80`s I watched John H. do hammer head 

stalls in his Firestar. It was at the flight farm in Horsehead NY. I 

was flying my brand new to the market Paraplane. My first step toward 

flying a Kolb. The Paraplane was first marketed by Steve Snyder. 

Steve was a very smart and very nice man. I watched him do two snap 

rolls in his jet about 50 feet above the runway,  the day I purchased 

my Paraplane. Unfortunately, he was killed in that same jet, a few 

years after Introducing the Paraplane to the market. I`m not sure 

what happened, it was his private jet.  I was told he had a flame out 

at low altitude. A real shame, as I think he would have contributed 

so much more to the world of aviation, if he hadn`t been killed. Lanny N598LF
