I'm cleaning my office and am offering Commander stuff to anyone interested.

Have a Complete set of SBs, SLs, and SIs (Vol CP-1 and CP-2). Purchased
new from TCAC about 10 years ago (close to $800 if I recall) and in
perfect, complete condition.

Full set of Maint and Parts manuals for 690A/B - good condition.

Factory orig electrical blueprints and schematics for 560 (a MUST HAVE
if you own a 560)

Full set of MRRPM installation and parts drawings for turbo 400
installations.

Commander "Custom Kits" catalog - new condition from TCAC

Lycoming GO-435 parts and overhaul manual

Probably quite a bit more that I have not yet uncovered....

All of the above is FREE to anyone who flies in to pick it up. I don't
have the spare time to bother with packing and shipping.

Hi Chris,

I'll be travelling right through your area on my way to Champaign, IL. The problem is that it won't be until April. I know it's kind of a long shot, but in case no one picks them up before then, I'd like to get the set of SBs, SLs, and SIs, as well as the custom kits catalog.

Regards,
Stan

Still got the GO-435 stuff? I might be able to stop by there on our way back west from Detroit in the 520.

Looking for a 520 that is in OK someplace. My friend/client has been awarded ownership of a 520 from a bankruptcy court.
He does not know the N number and does not seem to be able to get any information from the debtor.
It is suppose to be at a small private airport in OK.
I remember seeing one for sale at one time in that area.
If any one has any ideas, please let me know.

Still have all the stuff. Someone expressed interest in the 435 docs,
but I haven't heard anything further. I'd certainly prefer that it go
to someone who owns a 520 - even better if picked up IN a 520! I need
to do some further digging. I had a TON of 520 parts, but I've given
quite a bit away and tossed even more in the junk as nobody seemed
interested. There may still be some odds and ends around but I have not
had a chance to look.

Barry,I looked up El Reno Regional and El Reno airport (Grass strip) on Google maps. There appears to be a twin like a commander on the ramp at El Reno Regional. There are two farm dirt strips and the hospital heliport, none show any signs of a twin.
I will be asking more questions.

HI KIDS...Just got back from San Juan PR. Did an annual for Jimmy Rodriguez on his 500B, S/N 1, N107VC. Then flew to Culebra for some beach time with Sue a two other couples. Then, an 11 day Caribbean cruse mon. Yippee. If the new owner ever locates the 520 in OK, it will probably need propellers. I have a wonderful pair. Three blade, H/V (no AD). Let him know. They have great logs, 401.0 hr since O/H with nearly everything new!! jb

Hi Tylor,

When I re-visited El Reno in 2009 I think, the Commander was not visible.
On asking about it in the FBO hut, I was told it was there, but hangared and “has issues”.

Barry

Hi Tylor,

N52WD is a Model 520, s/n 141 (formerly N21SA, N21S, N2629B).

Was bought on August 23rd 1997, as N21SA, by Declo Enterprises Inc., of Lafayette, Indiana and re-registered as N52WD in December 1998.
On February 10th 2008, the FAA were advised by Declo Enterprises of a sale in December 2006 to Kirt Young, Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Presumably, no Bill of Sale, Application for Registration and the $5 fee has been submitted and it’s currently listed as “sale reported”.

I have a photo of it at Fond Du Lac County airport, Wisconsin, taken on July 31st 2003 but have nothing later.
It’s been modified, with the installation of winglets.

Best Regards,
Barry

Looking for a 520 that is in OK someplace.

My friend/client has been awarded ownership of a 520 from a bankruptcy court.
He does not know the N number and does not seem to be able to get any information from the debtor.
It is suppose to be at a small private airport in OK.
I remember seeing one for sale at one time in that area.
If any one has any ideas, please let me know.

I'm still waiting to hear from Jim if he has the time to fly it back next week. If we do, and the weather is agreeable, we might be able to route through Oklahoma.
