I use mostly 87 octane auto fuel in my Rotax 912UL Pulsar. Would the product STA-BIL Ethanol Treatment help avoid possible engine trouble? Someone gave me a bottle of Marine formula.

Pulsar pilots
STA-BIL is a great product and I have used it for years in my 2-cycle equipment. The biggest advantage is the prevention of deterioration of the fuel tanks by neutralizing the ethanol in the fuel. It has been used with great secuss on boats in the area that had fiberglass fuel tanks. I don't think it will change the engine performance.
