The Le Touquet trip was blown off earlier in the year but has been
rescheduled for this Saturday 23/7/11. Despite the miserable weather of the
last few weeks the forecast currently looks good. Anyone interested please

I have got a pink chit for Saturday even though we have Anne's sisters visiting us .

Steve, Herewith. It looks as though (weather willing) we shall be 4 planes,
so I intend to meet up there and then see what folk prefer to do, like cycle
all to Le T; Cycle all to the great sea food restaurant at Etaples; do their
own thing.

The weather Gods smiled on us for the Le Touquet trip on 23/7. Despite
horrendous weather in the N Sea & points East, it was near perfect over UK &
the Channel. Nine Europas made it, including F-PKRL, Karel Vranken surviving
dubious conditions in Belgium. Bicycles into town and a cracking sea food
lunch there ('Bouillabaise et son demi homard', followed by amazing 'glaces
avec cerises'!) at next table to Alan Sugar & his 2 minders, who had also
flown in & taken to bikes.
