I bought four new barry mounts locally and have a couple question. The shop
I bought them from stated to position the ridged half on the load side of
the mount, thus on the top face the ridges rearward and on the bottom face
them forward. I looked at a fellow builder's 7 over the weekend and a
visitor to his hanger stated just the opposite, the ridges went forward on
the top and rearward on the bottom. What gives???
Since I bought these locally, I don't have the required 7 bolt length and
metal locking nut torques. Looks to me like it will be 4.5" to clear the
acc. case (1" thick) by 1/2". What da yee say??
Also I need a torque value on this bolt/mount combo.
Want to hang this engine!!!!!
