While crossing over the field in my nanchang, I proceeded to power back. As I brought the throttle back through 550MP, the engine began to vibrate violently. I powered back up and all was fine... Down again and the vibration returned. It ran rough on the entire approach. It was 8 degrees C so my friend suggested carb ice. I'll be doing a run up tomorrow to see if the problem remains. Does anything else come to the minds of the collective list?
Thanks

Check to see that you did not unlock the primer with you elbow. If it is
open when
you pull the throttle and vacuum builds up it will suck fuel and run very
very rich and rough.

An unlocked primer is the most likely cause but also check for an intake
leak. If you have an intake drain kit installed (lower 3) check for
cracking around the drain boss welds.

After my recent experiences, I can come up with some bad things but stay with simple straight forward ones for now. Do what has been suggested first and let the Zebras sleep for now.
