HI all.
Is there someone that kindly can confirm me if CJ-6A can run a 98" prop diameter and the stock engine HP are no more than 330 HP (at) max 2200 prop RPM ?
Fresh air for J9-G1 hubs shortly !
Happy new year.

Alex;
J9-G1 dia is 94". Ground clearance will probably tolerate 98" but that
would need confirmation and a flat oleo/flat tire evaluation.
Engine is 285 HP and TO RPM is 2350.

HI Walt and all.
Thanks these informations are much appreciated.
I guess starting with 97" is fine, we 're not constrained by any mold.
Considering the low engine power two blade models in our inventory were selected.
V19 and V 21, both gentle scimitar on leading edge, square tips, properly calculated blade twist, not very wide in cord. ( cooling problem always in mind !! )
The benefits in terms of performance can be obtained only by diameter, blade twist and dedicated airfoils. YAK experience told me we were right !
On the 3rd my team 'll machine the V21 blade, pics will be posted shortly.
BIG THANKS to American Propeller for their support in the GT/J9-G1 blade project.
All suggestions by CJ operators are ALWAYS welcomed
Best wishes.
Alex

Alex,
Hopefully you can provide some comparison performance data with your pics.
Cheers,
