There has to be an easy answer to this question. I just can't find it!--
What do I need to do to attach a tow bar to the nosewheel of my RV8A? It is
getting frustrating trying to push it backwards.

I have a towbar for the 6A you're welcome to, Wayne, but it fits the old style narrow one-piece wheelpants. With some creative chopping, it could be widened. I never need ot now that I've mastered manhandling it by the prop roots. In a pinch, I drag it in with strap webbing and a riding mower. 3-point turns on level concrete are a breeze by hand. Towbar was actually harder to do, IMO.

Stormy,
Hope you are not doing the "manhandling" on C/S prop blades. Also
curious.... how are you pushing and steering with that strap? Just kidding.

One of the things I like about my tow bars is that the hole in the wheel
fairing is only as big as the head of the bolt and the bolt head is flush
with the fairing which help reduce drag from the opening.

No, but the blades should be able to handle about 200# of thrust each, minimum, whether by hands or by air loads.
I have a FP prop, and couldn't bend it by hand if I hung on the tips, which I don't.

I agree with you Stormy but Hartzell C/S props come with a warning on the
their props and in the manual about not using the blades to move the
airplane by hand.

Are we talking about moving a twin Bonanza or PiperLance by the prop or a
1350# RV by the prop.
Just a thought.

are 252#. Each time I do the calculations I get 1350. I haven't taken new
math yet.

I want some of that. I hear you can get it right from water and breathe the
rest.
