I wanted to pass along the excellent service I recently received from Lightspeed Aviation on 2 pairs of headsets. I loaned out my 4 year old Zulu headset to a friend and he reported they did not work. Sure enough, when I got them back, no audio whatsoever. My older pair, model 20XLc acquired about 8 years ago just recently became sticky all over the plastic parts. When I called Lightspeed Aviation to make arrangements to send both in for repairs. I was pleasantly surprised to learn they would repair for free. Now 10 days later I just got them back and they look, feel and smell brand new. Lightspeed said they had a few reports of the clear coat used on plastic parts back then breaking down into a sticky mess that could not be cleaned off. They replaced all the plastic parts on the older set. I don't know what they had to do on the Zulu but don't really care as long as they work and the repair was free. All it cost me was $14.00 to ship them to Oregon. I couldn't be happier with this company.

Pretty much the same situation with me. I am not sure but I think they replaced them. Mine were submerged when I had to ditch in the local reservoir a few years ago. I have since purchased 2 more sets for my new airplane. Great outfit. Cheers, Larry N852LW
