Paint protection film is practically bullet-proof, colorless & clear,
won't yellow (like UHMW tape), and peels off clean if you need to
remove it (unlike old UHMW tape). And it's relatively cheap to boot!

Hi all....
Looking after maintenance of a Rocket down here in New Zealand and the
owner would like to tidy it up a bit.
One of the jobs is to sort out the joint between the gear leg fairings and
the cuff that screws onto the fuselage. As the aircraft is operated off
grass alot, (sometimes quite rough) the fairings take a hell of a beating,
particularly where the fairing and cuff instesect and move with the springy
legs.
We have previously tried riveting a new section of Aluminium onto the top
of the leg but it is chafing and cracking up again.
Anyone out there got a good solution here? Some photos would be helpful

I had a Rocket owner once mention "speed tape" that he used to seal the
gaps along his aileron's etc. to reduce drag. Anyone have an idea as to
what that may be or where to get it?
