Dear Duane, Lowell;
Potential rockets to the moon ARE experimental aviation. While I am
stretching my budget building a Kitfox I am still thrilled to read of the
successes of SpaceShip One and Glasair cross-country speed records. The
factory built planes outnumber the homebuilts by a substantial margin at
Oshkosh every year and I suppose the bean counters at EAA recognize that
most EAAers fly factory built birds and consequently write articles along
those lines. Personally I would rather read an article in Sport Aviation
about ANY experimental aircraft over a factory built as I know the factory
plane are covered in AOPA Pilot, which I also receive.
