Lowell -
Any chance you'll release a dvd of your escapades that we could
purchase? I'd sure like to see what you see during your wanderings,
especially approaches and departures in the back country.
Thank you and Kay for another matchless fly-in. It's a treat to see
so many (10-15?) fine examples of the Kitfox - and those equally fine
"brand-x" airplanes that attended!

I have a video camera mounted in that housing. The camera can be
controlled by a joy stick mounted between the seats using 1/8"
aircraft cable. Movement is about 180* horizontal and 45* in the
vertical axis. It has controls for record / pause, auto / manual
focus, auto / hold aperture, zoom and it has a wiper to get bugs off
the lens. Mounted on the door is a monitor for viewing what the
camerqa sees. It has been a long project and is still evolving.

Bill, that was the reason for the whole thing. The problem is that editing,
I find very time consuming and it is hard to devote a whole day - actually
many whole days, in front of the computer. The guys I fly with are losing
their patience with me though, so something will be forthcoming. I don't
know when, though.
