TCFG  

   

In the link below you can download a video of Scott Main taking off in his 1955 560-A USAF Aero Commander as he departs KCHA.  After rotation Scott turns toward the FBO and then back parallel to the runway followed by wing waves.  

   

Off camera my wife says “Will he get in trouble with the tower for that?”  I say that he probably told them he was going to o it.  I departed about 30 minutes later and they Controller in the Tower said “Tell your buddy we enjoyed the show!”  So Scott – the guys in the tower liked it!

Bob.

Great sounding audio but no video on the movie when I download it. I used quicktime as its a quicktime movie but still no luck. Is it just me or was the upload audio only?

Any chance you got the first part of the takeoff roll? Id like to see that too if you did. And yes, the tower approved a slight offset so I could give a little wave on departure. Thanks for the video.

VLC (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/) will play anything, anywhere, anytime.

Loved the video.

I was hoping to show up in my Bellanca 14-13 (when I grow up and make some 

money I'll get a T-Commander) but it's undergoing an annual...   

Anyone wants a taildragger endorsement?

Or a glider ride/instruction?

I do have the rolling part of the take off – but I was zoomed in too much and what you see is a lot of jumping around of the lens with occasional glimpses of your Commander.  I will look at it again – maybe my daughter Sarah can use some wizbang software to take the drunken sailor lens jumping out of it.  If so I will send it to you.
