Troops,
Well it's time to start planning for Sun & Fun. You snow bird can scrap the ice off your wings and come to God's country where the girls wear shorts all year to show off their sun tan legs. Land of the 'Blue hair', gators, moccasins, and Florida's state bug the Palmetto bug. Yep its time to warm up.
Anyway, I need to get an idea of what the majority of you want. Last year a few (NOT all) said you wanted to be near the 'regular' WB guys hotel. That's down town Winter Heaven. To get from LAL airport to there after the airshow is a real hassle. All the restaurants very crowed each evening.
Zephyrhills, although not near the WB guys and as "up town" does not have near the traffic nor attractions. Rooms will most likely be cheaper as will the restaurants. We found a number of very good eateries there and a very decent bar. The FBO will most likely have us parked out in the field again, but the same would be at LAL, GIF, or BOW. I have no idea what fuel will be at this point.
It might be that we will be split up and only get together at the show. That may happen if I do not get a super majority one way or another.
OFF list please, so as not to rub it in to the poor souls who shall freeze their tonuses off. (temp today was 68F with a bit of a breeze from the NW, CAVU).

I personally would like to be near the other warbird folks, makes for
more like minded individuals at the bar.
