All: I came back from a flight and found a cooling louver ring support Rod broken. Looking to see if anyone knows where I can get a replacement. Is the lower rod that supports the hook and wire that holds the lower calendar up when the cowling is open. Pictures attached.

				Hi David,
My Yak needs them repair every now and then, I had one rebuild by the local AP when that happens.

Unless I am mistaken, the CJ rods are the same as the ones on the Yak 50, but not exactly the same as the 52's. The difference is the 52's rods have a slotted, countersunk end at the louver ring outside end (which makes them fit flush to the ring) and the CJ's are simply a flattened rod.

Dave Jester, take a look at the end of the rods around the outside of the ring on your 52 and then go look at the rods on your neighbor's CJ's ring.

Oops! I was thinking it was a LOUVER rod. Not the adjustable ring brace rod.
        Sorry for my misunderstanding.

Correct Dennis. The YAK 50 louver axels are different and are not interchangeable with the 52. The ring braces rods and ends are though.
Doug has them. I keep a couple of spares just incase. The straight and the 45 degree ones.

        Sorry for my misunderstanding.
