				HI Team:

In the past month I have worked on three vacuum systems. With each vacuum
pump there is a set of instructions that say "clean the tubing so no debris will
enter a gage". My question is this:
If a vacuum pump draws air FROM the canister air filter, through the
instruments and vacuum gage AND pumps the exhaust air out the pump through the rear
tube ... HOW does derbies manage to go the REVERSE direction from the pump back
 to the instruments?

It's a "cover our ass" statement.   If your filter is clean (the one going to the instruments) tha's all you need to worry about.
