N96BT the 'Big Toy' is for Sale. This plane has been one of the great joys of my life! Taking my wife and I on many wonderful adventures! Now it's time for this aircraft to fulfill that mission for another family! 96BT is an O320 powered low time tr-1 speedster. I cruise all day long at 150 kts at 7.5 gph . Full tilt buggy is abt 165 kts. It has a reliable VFR instrument package with Apollo gps. Both interior and exterior looks nice! Beautiful wood fixed pitch prop and wood grain panel. If any one is interested just drop me a line and I will provide more details.
The only reason I would sell my BigToy is we have upgraded to a Velocity RG . Even with that, it is hard to let go of this member of the family ! I'm asking $50 k

Nice looking TR1 .. by the looks of just the one pic ... Just curious
what ur empty weight is with the 0320 install ....?

Empty Weight is 1000 lbs
Gross weight is 1600 lbs
Useful load 600 lbs
Holds 30 gal fuel (at) 7.5 gph cruise is 4 hr ultimate endurance . We always land after 3 hrs !
Here are some other details:
Lycoming 0320 - 160 hp, 550 SMOH
King Kx 125 nav/com
King Kt 76A TSO mode C transponder
Digital fuel flow meter
Apollo 360 panel mount GPS
Mount for iPad
OAT probe
Servo pitch and yaw trim control .
Easy change oil filter
Oil/ air separator
