				List

I have a friend at a nearby airport that has a 2200A engine Serial Number 22J-797.

He would like to know if it has hydraulic or solid lifters. He says the manual is not real clear.

I would think the J series is after the A series and would have hydraulic lifters.

 Any quick answers.

The J series is effectively the same as the A series of similar age.  The difference is that the J carries a different certification than the A model.

easiest way is to take one tappet cover off. If it has an adjustment nut and screw it is mechanical, Hydraulic lifters have no adjuster
