				I remember seeing a CJ serial # graph somewhere that showed a manufacture date but I don't remember where it was.

 My airplane: 4032009

 Can someone point me in the right direction?

 Thanks in advance.

				Hi Steve;

 Your CJ is # 09 of Batch # 40 from Factory # 320.

 There should be a small alum. plate riveted on the forward side of the
 firewall on the RH side. It should also show the date of manufacture.
 Each major airframe component also has the ID plate.

				I seem to recall that in C Payne's "CJ6 Buyer's Guide", there was a chart that provided serial #, mfg, reference info... ?

				Batch 40 was 24 aircraft built between June 1984 and March 1985 at the Nanchang factory. Airplanes #23 & #24 went to Bangladesh, the remainder to the PLAF.

				Mine is 3151215. Presumably number 15, batch 31, factory 512.

 Would you mind telling me which factory and the year please? Our UK paperwork says 1976...

				Batch 31 was 21 aircraft - built between Sept 1975 and Jan 1976. All aircraft went to the PLAF. I know there was factory "512" but I don't know where.

				BTW the largest batches were #24 to #29 with each batch made of 80 aircraft. Constructed between Oct 1968 and June 1975.
