Fellow RV pilots,
I am planning to install a EMS-D10 Dynon engine monitor in my aircraft. Can anyone comment on the following:
---Can it be viewed easily by the pilot if it is mounted in front of the co pilot?
---Is it easy to install with the Dynon wiring harness?

Hey Ed,this is unrelated I can,t remember if you are at the asheville airport.If so can I come up there and park in the cap area and walk over to the barbque place.Ben---

That is me at the BBQ fly in AVL. Now that I have answered the hard questions, what do you know about the EMS-D10?

Based on D10 use, I'd say viewing from the side should be fine, tho
obviously less than idea.
Not sure about what's involved with wiring integration with the D10. I
made my D10 harness. It wasn't hard.

I'll agree, but I have not seen any engine instruments displayed. The wiring
is straightforward for the non-engine functions. Finding a place for the
magnetometer is a pain.

I know nothing about it,but i would be glad to help if i could.Randy Pinkston at anson cty just finished a 7rabbit killer and i think he has one in his.Ed can we use the cap spron to go to the bbq and the # on the gate?

ben i have a grandrapids efis in mine not dynon,,,if any one want's to help put my rabbit killer back together i will be at anson kafp all day sat and sunday. all help welcome. that includes you to ben randy pinkston kafp rv7a with new paint!

Please let me know how the installing goes. However, I cheated by
buying the wiring harness for both the EFIS and EMS.
I'll be installing mine once the canopy is finished in a month or two.
As for mounting the magnetometer, here is where I put mine:
