Someone on the List a while back said "The 601/701/801 has the glide ratio
of a grand piano!" I stll chuckle about that - but it is fairly near the
truth! DO NOT ARCHIVE.

I would think that the 601 would have a much better glide ratio given how much cleaner of an airframe it is.

Nope....the 601 HDS comes down like a brick...great for short strip with big trees...
